LeAnn Rimes is eating her words.

The singer, who performed at New York's Rockefeller Center's Christmas tree lighting ceremony on Wednesday night, received some harsh criticism for comments she made about the Eric Garner protests.

Throughout the course of the evening, protestors gathered at Rockefeller Center to express their outrage at the court's decision to not indict a NYPD officer for the chokehold death of Eric.

Some of the St. Louis Rams players continued this silent protest on Sunday, after former officer Darren Wilson was not indicted for the shooting last week.

Stedman Bailey, Jared Cook, Chris Givens and receivers Tavon Austin and Kenny Britt were among the Rams who entered the Edward Jones Dome with their hands up as they jogged onto the field before playing the Oakland Raiders.

After a touchdown in the first quarter, the silent protest was seen again.

You can watch just how powerful it was (above)!

Students Stand Up And Support Gay Former Catholic School Teacher Who Was Fired For 'Nontraditional' Pregnancy

students stand up and support former catholic school teacher who was fired for nontraditional pregnancy

Ugh!

We hate that this happened to this teacher, but we're SO glad to see all of the support she's received since!

Barb Webb was recently fired after working at an all girls Catholic school for the past nine years. She spent countless hours at Marian High School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, but the former teacher - who is gay - believes she was let go because she is pregnant.

The timeline of the previous months would certainly prove that reasoning, since she told her bosses that she was pregnant in the middle of July, about a month after she first learned she was pregnant, and was subsequently fired in August.

Here's what she wrote on Facebook at the time:

michael sam protest planned dallas cowboys game ap

We can’t say we’re surprised, but we’re absolutely disappointed.

After being cut by the St. Louis Rams, Michael Sam was signed to the Dallas Cowboys practice team earlier this week.

But some Texas residents aren’t happy about the openly gay player being on their roster.

A protest has been planned, though no organization has officially attached their name to it, where thousands of right-wing Christians are expected to show up outside of AT&T Stadium on Sunday during the game to protest signing Sam.

According to reports, people have been calling into radio station 105.3 The Fan, saying ridiculous things like:

For those who are a bit behind on this news, let us quickly catch you up to speed…

Last month, the tiny East Asian nation of Brunei became the first country in the region to adopt Sharia law. The decision to do so was made by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, who is the leader of the oil-rich kingdom.

What is Sharia law, you ask?

Basically it’s just the worst. It includes punishments of flogging, dismemberment, and stoning for “crimes” such as cheating on your spouse, having an abortion, drinking alcohol or just being gay! In fact, those who partake in sodomy are to be put to death!

Pretty awful, right?

Well, the Sultan of Brunei is a rich dude and in order to stay rich, he's made some investments throughout his life, including purchasing two luxury hotels in Southern California - The Hotel Bel Air and the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Both have been frequented by the rich and famous for years. But with these anti-gay laws effecting the thousands of citizens living in Brunei, several Hollywood stars have stopped hanging out at the Sultan’s American businesses!

Enter Kim Kardashian who is a BIG fan of the Beverly Hills Hotel. Yesterday, she asked the Illuminati stars of El Lay to reconsider their boycott because by not going to the BHH, they’re only hurting
