In the past year, the flailing network needlessly torpedoed Ann Curry's career, completely bumbled the coverage of the Olympics, and even announced the premature death of astronaut rock legend Neil Young!

Replacing Jay Leno on The Tonight Show with the younger Jimmy Fallon is just about the only thing they did right!!

…Or did they?!

American Idol has fallen deep down the ratings rabbit hole. But will it be able to climb its way back out?!

The singing competition show’s consistently low ratings continued last Thursday and dropped even further down the Nielson scale. With just 11 million viewers, the show’s ratings were down 7% from just the previous week!

YIKES! The show’s producers are going to have to do something quickly to save their drowning baby.

We wonder if this week’s latest Nicki Minaj-Mariah Carey drama was a much needed publicity stunt.

What’s more, with rumors of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s potential Idol judgeships circling — not to mention Jennifer Lopez's — the smell of desperation is lingering.

Watch out, AI! Things are getting dark and damp down there!

It's certainly been a wonderful few days for Rihanna!

The pop sensation just wrapped a weekend of enjoying her favorite holiday, and now, she has a whole lot more celebrating on the way, because she's now officially the first singer in the 20 years of Billboard's Nielsen-based radio airplay charts to garner a full TEN number one pop songs, now that her latest single, Stay featuring Mikky Ekko, has jumped up from number two!

Which, of course, follows her prior hits to reach that spot, SOS, Take a Bow, Disturbia, Live Your Life with T.I., Rude Boy, Love the Way You Lie with Eminem, Only Girl (In the World), S&M, and We Found Love with Calvin Harris!

Rebel Wilson was fantastically FIERCE hosting last night's MTV Movie Awards and we have the numbers to prove it!

Sunday's event was watched by 3.8 million people, which is waaaaay more than the 3.2 mil who watched last year — viewership was up over 40% with adults between 18 and 49!

So what accounted for the super sweet ratings?

YIKES!!

NBC has not had much luck at the ratings game recently. And they can officially add their latest reality show Ready For Love to their list of unsuccessful ventures. The new matchmaking romp came in at last place last night with 3.8 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

Apparently, the show's married hosts Bill and Giuliana Rancic were enough to draw more viewers. What's more? The show still tanked despite a very strong Voice lead-in.

We hope NBC will find a way to turn things around, but what does this mean for the Eva Longoria produced show?? Is a “So Long, Farewell” awaiting ‘round the corner?!

Jumpin' Dragons!!!

It looks like we'll be seeing a lot more of the Starks and Lannisters as HBO recently announced they will be renewing Game of Thrones for a 4th season!

WOOHOO!

The news is hardly a surprise considering the series' recent success, and it definitely doesn't hurt that it's making the network TONS of money!

Even though the season 3 premiere was a bit of a snoozer, it boasted the highest ratings the series has seen so far, and that probably helped the decision to bring it back as well.

Looks like we might have to get our hands on some of that Game of Thrones beer and celebrate!
