You Can Go 20 Miles Above The Earth In A Balloon — But Can You Afford It! Find Out How Expensive It Is To Be A Daredevil!

no title

Have you ever wanted to ride in a balloon about twenty miles above the Earth, looking down on all of us from above?!

As crazy as that sounds, you can actually do that with a new company called World View. They are offering customers the opportunity to do a little space tourism — but only if you have $75,000 for it.

Basically, here's what they're offering:the company has created a high-altitude balloon to carry passengers a whopping 20 miles above the Earth. They say that allows you to see 99% of the Earth's atmosphere!

The craft holds six passengers, plus the two crew member who need to, ya know, fly the balloon up and down and out into space and back… And apparently, it takes about six hours to complete the flight, with the balloon rising to, yes, more than 100,000 feet off of the surface of the Earth!

But you know what?! If you've got the money to fork out, and a little bit of a crazy side, why not?! After all, it is pretty AH-mazing that traveling nowadays doesn't necessarily mean staying on the planet to do it!!!

What do U think? Crazy idea that you'd never consider, or are you up in space the moment you get an extra $75,000?!

Swap Out Gravity's George Clooney And Sandra Bullock for Matthew McConaughey And Anne Hathaway And You Have — Chris Nolan's Interstellar!

It may be Christopher Nolan's birthday, but he's giving us the real present.

That's because over the weekend, he dropped the THIRD trailer for Interstellar today!

That's right!

With this third installment, which originally premiered at Comic-Con, we finally get to see a little of what Matthew McConaughey and Co. are searching for up in space.

The movie, also starring Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Ellen Burstyn, and Michael Caine is due out Nov. 7th, so this could be the last trailer we get.

Although, we wouldn't mind seeing a fourth trailer that explains Anne and Jessica's involvement in the story to a really in depth extant.

Well, dang. Now that we've thought of it, we actually kind of want it.

But until then, you'll just have to settle for the ones we already have!

Ch-ch-check it out (above)!

Behold, Earthlings! The First Vine In SPACE!

first vine from space

This Vine feels like it could have been directed by Alfonso Cuarón.

But no! This looping, orbiting video was posted by astronaut Reid Weisman, whose Vine app has boldly gone where no Vine app has gone before…the ultimate vacuum.

Well, we're sure someone made a Vine of a vacuum cleaner at some point, but when it comes to the expanse of space, this may be one small step for social media, but it's also one giant leap for social media kind.

Along with this Vine, Reid posted this Neil Armstrong-like declaration:

Matthew McConaughey & Anne Hathaway In Space? F**k Yes! See Interstellar's First Official Trailer HERE!

Wait… isn't this just Gravity? No? Okay, if you say so…

Let's be honest: Matthew McConaughey could smear mayonnaise all over his chest and sing the Champagne Song from Die Fledermaus and we would still gladly fork over $16 bucks to watch the spectacle.

So, Matty McConaHOTTIE in space?? With Anne Hathaway AND Jessica Chastain? In Christopher Nolan's first film since wrapping up the Dark Knight trilogy?

Uh, yeah, you had us at "alright, alright, alright"!

But don't take our word for it!

Ch-ch-check out the first official trailer for Interstellar (above) and get blown the eff away!

Yes!!! It's like Galaxy Quest, but without all those time consuming jokes! We're guessing the phallic-shaped rocket they launch is a metaphor for the huge boner erupting in everyone's pants right now because this is AMAZEBALLZ!

Interstellar blasts off — LOLz, sorry, couldn't resist — on November 7th.

NERD NEWS! NASA Scientists Discover Evidence That Saturn's Moon Has A Huge Underground Ocean! Could It POSSIBLY Have Aliens!?!

possible water found on saturn

HOLY MOLY! This is SO cool!!

NASA has announced that they have found evidence that one of Saturn's moons, Enceladus, has a HUGE underground OCEAN on it!

SAY WHAAAAAT!!

Back in 2005, their Cassini space craft saw vapor & ice coming out of the planet, so this caused them to investigate further, and they discovered the evidence!

Since the ocean, ya know, exists, the NASA scientists believe Enceladus could be home to extraterrestrial microbes.

Aka ALIENS?!?! Aka AWESOME!!

While microbes don't really count as aliens like we think of them, it's still an exciting update in the quest through the galaxy!

Who knows, maybe in the near future people will be traveling there to colonize the Milky Way in the name of science! LOLz!!!
