A new study out of Spain found that women who walk at least three hours every week are less likely to have a stroke!
Getting your blood pumping pretty well for just 30 minutes a day seems to be enough to lower a woman's stroke risk.
At least compared to those who don't walk at all.
It wasn't even a small amount… it was a whole 43% lower!!
Lead author of the study said:
We all know that stress and depression can take a physical toll on the body.
But a new study has just found that people over 65 who experienced "psychosocial distress" had a much higher chance of dying from a stroke.

Frankie Muniz called into Johnjay and Rich, a radio show, to talk about his recent mini-stroke.
We previously mentioned that Frankie had a "mini-stroke" and ended up in the hospital.
He opened up to the radio hosts, who he was apparently friends with, and told them how the most unexpected consequence was all the national media attention.
He didn't expect people to care that much about him.
Frankie! You're America's sweetheart! Of course we'd care!
So how is he feeling now??
He's much better, and out of the hospital.
All he's really feeling right now is very lethargic.
He plans on taking charge of his health, mainly citing the fact that he eats like a ten year old (junk food) and stresses out all the time.
We hope you recover completely Frankie!!

Frankie Muniz was hospitalized after what's being called a "mini stroke," and there's no word on the cause.
He was actually admitted last Friday, and is now on his way back to full health — with an added fear we can't even imagine. At 26, this shouldn't be happening.
Here's what the Malcolm in the Middle star said about it on Twitter:
Dr. Sanjay Gupta was recently talking to Deepak Chopra about how to turn your brain into a super brain.
There are ways for the brain to heal and change itself.
He was talking about neuroplasticity and how it can lead a person to regain control of one side of their body that was originally paralyzed in a stroke.
The brain is able to build new neural pathways to allow us to function normally, even after serious trauma.
Through lifestyle changes, we can even begin to turn certain genes on and off!
You could disable genes that lead to cancer while enabling genes that rev up your metabolism!
Check out the video (above) to hear some very smart guys talk about how to get a super brain!
