A Solo Plane Belonging To Titanic Composer James Horner Crashed And The Unidentified Pilot Was Found Dead
A solo plane registered to Oscar-winning composer James Horner crashed near Santa Barbara on Monday morning, and the pilot was found dead at the scene.
While it hasn't been confirmed that the body belonged to the Titanic musician, authorities are unaware of whom else could have been operating the plane.
The pilot was the only person on board when it crashed at around 9:30a.m., and it is unclear what caused the accident.
Authorities are having difficulty determining if it was actually the 61-year-old in the wreckage, because the plane started a brush fire upon impact and there were practically no remains.
Our hearts are with James' family at this time.
