Yesterday we heard that a Lena Dunham registered in Brooklyn did NOT cast a ballot on November 5th of last year…
BUT the nude-rude-lady-dude was in India at the time so we figured she maybe sent in her vote via absentee ballot!
After hearing about this DAMNING accusation (ha) Lena took to Twitter to spit some truths at those who doubt her commitment to
Sparkle Motion to American democracy.
Find out if Lena voted by reading her lengthy Twitter response …AFTER THE JUMP!!!
We think Meryl Streep's reaction says it all… WHAAAATTT?!
It seems that this year's all new online voting system for the Oscars is leaving many members of the Academy confused about the process.
Apparently, some are describing the new system as a "disaster" and others are scared a hacker could easily compromise the whole site!
However, a spokesperson for the Academy claims that the issues most members are experiencing are due to the simple fact that they are "forgetting or misusing passwords"…
Which to us seems like a subtle jab insinuating certain members are a bit too old to be comfortable with the virtual voting system!
Ok, it's a tad ageist, but we kinddaaaa get it. Have you ever tried to teach an 80-year-old how to use the internet?!
It's NOT as easy as Grandma's apple pie, that's for sure!
Being famous obviously has its perks!!
Adoring fans! Free shoes! Half-priced hookers!
But some things money and popularity should NOT buy!!
Usher, conscientious citizen he is, made it a point to vote Tuesday in Hotlanta!!
Awesome!! We applaud you for doing your civic duty!!
The only problem?
Uma-god! It's a makeupless Uma Thurman!
The 42 year old was spotted out in New York City on Tuesday getting her vote on looking as beautiful as ever au naturale.
We're even digging Uma's casual outfit of a black trench coat, jeans and UGGs. It makes her look so…normal.

Ruh-roh! El Lay might need to change it's nickname!!
As Barack Obama won four more years, marriage equality found major breakthroughs, and pot smokers rejoiced by binging on Cheetos, Los Angeles Country residents voted in new law specific to the porn industry!
Measure B requires porn companies to purchase more expensive safety permits and forces condom use in sex scenes. It passed, with 55.9% of voters supporting it.
YAY! Safe sex is good, right? …Right???
Of course safe sex is good!
The problem with this measure, argues the porn industry and the L.A. Times, is that porno films are already safe!
Strict screening measures exist to ensure that no participants are infected with STDs!!
All this measure does, they say, is add (unnecessary) condoms!
