Keep it healthy this holiday! From BBQs to buffets, it’s easy to get off-course and eat less than nourishing foods. Be sure to stay hydrated this Forth of July by drinking plenty of water (and even squeeze a little lemon in it for a nice boost of vitamin C). Avoid drinking unhealthy soda by carrying with you coconut water, freshly-brewed iced tea, or sparking water with cranberry juice. Eat healthy and delicious foods like watermelon (loaded with lycopene), summer squash (great source of immune-boosting zinc), and vine-ripened tomatoes (full of antioxidants). No matter what you do (or eat) have a safe and fun Forth of July.
Happy Independence Day!
