Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling sat down to give a rare interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show, set to air Friday, in which she discusses coping with the fame her world-wide beloved series brought her, the pressure to please so many fans, and according to Scholastic, Inc., “the possibility of ever writing another Harry Potter book in the future.”
Rowling reveals:
“You ask about the pressure. At that point, I kept saying to people, yeah I’m coping … but the truth was there were times when I was barely hanging on by a thread.”
Wow! We can’t say we blame her, though!
We couldn’t even imagine trying to satisfy so many expectations with each new book!
We’re psyched! This interview is going to be epic!
