We find this very hard to believe! Where’s Papa Joe Simpson when you need him???
In case you missed it, Jessica Simpson announced that she had her BF Eric Johnson are getting married over the weekend.
Now, it may seem kind of ironic that this news came about only days after her ex-husband, Nick Lachey announced he was getting married too, but that’s not nearly as questionable as the news we’re getting this morning that Jess doesn’t think she needs a prenup!
Apparently, she has all but forgotten when Nick walked away with $10 million dollars of HER hard earned money with they divorced!
Sources are claiming that the “romance” of their situation has gone to Jessica’s head and that she doesn’t think her $100 million empire is in danger from the possible grubby hands of her handsome footballer. Someone who is very concerned about this? Us! Her father/manager, Joe Simpson! A family friend reveals:
“At the moment, Joe is sitting back and being a great father, supporting his daughter and his future son-in-law. However, you can bet after all the excitement has died down, Joe is going to do everything in his power to make sure Jessica doesn’t walk down the aisle until Eric signs away any right he might have to Jessica’s enormous fortune.”
We think that’s a good idea! What could she be thinking?! Doesn’t she have any of those lingering trust issues left?! They’d serve her well right now!
