His past is now his present – no complaints from this corner!
At the tender age of 19, Channing Tatum wasn’t starring in movies or married to his Step Up co-star. He was just a bulk, buff, seksi piece of a man who used his muscles to bring in the $$$ … and he did it oh so well! That’s right, no shame, he was a stripper and from what we’ve seen, he was a damn fine one!
Thankfully, the heavens have granted our wish and Channing is getting back to his roots. Turns out, he will be starring in a new flick, Magic Mike, a project based on his real-life experiences working as a male stripper!
Aaaah-mazing!
Now, for all you nay-sayers out there, don’t be so quick to judge. This is going to be a legit movie. If it wasn’t, would Steven Soderbergh come out of his planned retirement to direct it? Huh? HUH? Remember, he said Liberace, starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon, and the possible big-screen reboot of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. were going to be his last projects. Apparently, this movie’s going to be good enough that he reconsidered and just signed on to helm it.
Whatya think of that?!
