Oprah Would've Launched OWN Network "Differently" If She Had To Do It Again

Oprah Winfrey went before the cable industry this morning with her tail slightly between her legs as she addressed the issues facing her failing OWN cable network.

She admitted to the board that the “bumps” OWN has endured thus fair are partly her fault. With “one foot out the door” of her talk show and the other stepping into the network, she found it difficult to juggle both without sacrificing attention to one. But now that her talk show has ended she pledged to “commit” her “full energy, feet first, body immersed” with her cable staff.

We’re firm believers that there isn’t anything Oprah can’t do if she puts her mind to it. Obviously, she was a bit distracted when OWN launched and it suffered for it. But if she says she is committed, we say we expect it to flourish in the fall season! Just you wait and see!
