Ryan O'Neal Wishes Oprah Would Have Used 'Her Magic' On Him And Daughter Tatum

Maybe she’ll whip out the REAL magic during season two!

Yesterday, we learned all about a new reality show on Oprah’s OWN network entitled Ryan & Tatum: The O’Neals.

As a reminder, the show will explore the damaged relationship between Tatum O’Neal and her father Ryan O’Neal.

We were glad to hear they were making the effort, but we were skeptical about the fact that they feel the need to work out their problems on a reality show, and now it looks like Ryan is skeptical as well.

Here’s what Ryan had to say about the show:

“I thought that was the thing ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ that Oprah would be there and use her magic on us. I thought she├óΓé¼Γäód bless us and that would help. We spent New Year├óΓé¼Γäós Even with her, and she was very encouraging. Then we never saw her again. And haven├óΓé¼Γäót heard from her. When she finished her show, I supposed she├óΓé¼Γäód come by and talk to us, but they said no, she├óΓé¼Γäós going on holiday. So Tatum and I were left to deal with each other on our own.”

“We├óΓé¼Γäóre OK, but I don├óΓé¼Γäót know.”

These things take time, Ryan. We agree, it would have been nice if Oprah were more hands-on during this process, but when it comes down to it, you’ve gotta be committed to repairing your relationship with your daughter because it’s important to YOU.

Think about it!

What do U think? Will Ryan and Tatum fully repair their relationship? Will it make for a good reality show?
