Enrique Iglesias has once again surpassed the King of Pop‘s record of most dance hits at #1 among men!
He actually claimed that title back in February, inneresting enough, but Michael grabbed another spot this summer with his hit Hollywood Tonight. So, as Dirty Dancer hits #1, Enrique reclaims the position and the title!
Iglesias has seen all 15 of his Dance/Club Play hits reach the top 10, stretching back to his first hit, 1999’s No. 1 “Bailamos.” “Dirty” is his third chart-topper in a row following “I Like It” last year and “Tonight.”
Madonna leads all artists with 40 Dance/Club Play Songs No. 1s, followed by Jackson’s sister Janet with 19. In third place among men is Prince, with seven leaders.
So he has quite a ways to go if he’s ever going to beat Madonna‘s staggering 40 hits!
We’re not sure the seksi singer can do that, but we’re okay with him trying! Ha!
Congrats!
