Despite reports that Britney Spears was eager to join Smash, unfortunately for everybody involved, it was all just a rumor.
With the show’s crazy schedule, choreographing, recording, and filming the musical numbers, sources say that it just isn’t possible to fit in a new character at the last minute.
Aw, sadsies, but at least we always have next season!
