Oh no!
Following the announcement that the Jersey Shore will begin production on its sixth season at Seaside Heights this summer, it seems like one of the beloved housemates may be noticeably absent, but for a very serious reason.
It was announced today that Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has entered rehab, to get help with some alleged substance abuse issues. However, when his rep was reached for comment, his team would not confirm that The Sitch was seeking any kind of medical help. They merely stated:
“[Mike] has spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule.”
Inneresting.
Well, whether he is need of rest or serious help, we just hope that he gets it. The life he lives seems glamourous from in front of a TV screen, but if he’s pushed himself too far, we hope he has enough sense to rein himself back in and get in check before things get any worse.
