After the announcement yesterday that Jersey Shore’s The Situation had checked into rehab, more details are now emerging.
It seems like Sitch has been in pretty rough shape for a while now, showing CLEAR and obvious signs of substance abuse.
The reality star reportedly hit ROCK BOTTOM in the midst of taping the show’s most recently aired season, with reports of him “acting paranoid” on set and getting worse as the season continued!
In one episode, where the cast members go camping, The Situation is seen exhibiting some bizarre behavior…as well as sweating profusely and just being all-out jittery.
Filming for season sixth of the show begins this summer… but there is still no word on whether or not he’ll be healthy enough in time to take part in it.
Cast mates and crew are glad he is getting help and while we are happy he made the decision too, we can’t help but wonder why production didn’t do the right thing and step in EARLIER.
We guess filming the season was far too important — even if it meant one of the cast mates would end up in rehab!
Kids, stay away from drugs…AND grenades!
