We meant it when we said that The White Stripes are officially over.
During a recent interview, Jack White was asked whether or not there might EVER be a White Stripes reunion.
Here’s what he had to say about it, in no uncertain terms:
“Absolutely no chance. I couldn├óΓé¼Γäót see any reason to ever do that. I├óΓé¼Γäóm not the kind of person that would retire from baseball and come out of retirement the next year. I mean, if we went to all the trouble of telling people we├óΓé¼Γäóre done, we meant it, you know?”
“If we were forced to change our mind about that, I can only imagine being the reason (sic), like if for some reason we went bankrupt or something or needed the cash, which would be a really sad thing, I would probably be issuing an apology along with the announcement of the show dates!”
Ah well! At least Jack’s solo stuff is good!
