Russell Brand stopped by Ellen recently to sit down for an interview, which airs today, where he opens up about his relationship with Katy Perry!
Though divorcing just this past December (it feels longer?!), it sounds like Brand STILL has love for the Teenage Dream songstress!!
Russell revealed:
“I still love her as a human being, but, sometimes when you’re in a relationship, I suppose it doesn’t work out, does it? But that doesn’t mean I regret it or anything.”
…and you all just read that in Russell├óΓé¼Γäós accent, we├óΓé¼Γäóre sure! LOLz. Somehow, his British tongue made that sound smoother, ha!
Russell went on to say how he was “very happy” to be married with her and that he has only “love and positivity” for Mz. Katy!
Well, ain’t that sweet! We sure hope he means it!
Sometimes, things really just don├óΓé¼Γäót work out, and maybe for Katy at least, it was for the better — the singer has moved onto Robert Ackroyd, guitarist for Florence + The Machine!
As for Russell? Since the split, rumors had been flying that he was dating everyone from David Hasselhoff’s ex to Hungarian model!
We wish both Russell and Katy the best…and hope they find happiness!
