Brangelina did cry recently, but not because Ewan McGregor kicked them in their shins!
Ewan’s powerfully moving performance in The Impossible broke their ducts open, and now Angelina Jolie is ensuring your flood gates burst wide open too!
The flick captures the tale of a family of foreigners caught in Thailand during the deadly and devastating 2004 tsunami.
Introducing the film to friends at a private house screening, Angelina said of Ewan:
“I have known [Ewan] for years and you are one of my favorite actors and I├óΓé¼Γäóve always loved to watch you, but I watched this and I didn├óΓé¼Γäót recognize you… To say it is one of the best performances of the year, really doesn├óΓé¼Γäót give it credit, because it doesn├óΓé¼Γäót feel like a performance… You rarely see this emotion from a man on screen and I called him later to tell him how much he made me cry. I was crying, and I looked over at Brad [Pitt] and he was crying. It├óΓé¼Γäós just really, really powerful. As an actor, I├óΓé¼Γäóm in awe.”
