Michelle Obama‘s getting mixed reviews over the red and black Alexander McQueen gown she wore to the State dinner earlier this week.
While we thought she looked faboosh, Oscar de la Renta found her choice inappropriate.
He explains:
“My understanding is that the visit was to promote American-Chinese trade ΓÇö American products in China and Chinese products in America. Why do you wear European clothes?”
It’s a valid argument.
