That's One Scary Looking Barbie!

Most of us already know if Barbie’s measurements were converted to the size of a human she’d be 6 feet tall with a bust size of 39 inches, an 18 inch waist and 33 inch hips.

A bit odd looking to say the least.

And one Hamilton University student is using these numbers to make a point.

Galia Slayen, who has battled her own eating disorder in the past, has created a life-sized version of the Barbie doll.

And while she makes it a point to not entirely blame the doll for a lot of the body image issues women have, she does add that it contributes a bit.

Check out her interview with The TODAY Show above to learn more about Galia’s efforts to raise awareness about eating disorders and body image issues.
