Designer shopping bags are the new accessory craze???
Well, apparently in China and other parts of the world they are.
So instead of spending thousands of dollars on a Chanel purse or Louis Vuitton wallet, just carry around the bag it came in.
Many are selling their bags online, but the fad has grown so much that people are now selling imitation designer shopping bags in stores.
According to Chinese reports, counterfeit designer carrier bags are all the rage, with most of them priced between $.80 and $8.
Wang Xuesheng, who sells these bags reveals:
“Most people buy the bags only for the logo. In fact, if you take a close look at the bag, you will easily discover that the material is different from authentic ones.
I used to produce paper bags for people who had created their own brands for online stores but later I noticed an increasing demand for paper bags with logos from high-end goods.
In the beginning, my clients were mostly people who sell fake handbags. Later, we gradually won more independent customers.”
