Chanel Loses Counterfeit Lawsuit! Ordered To Pay $258,000!

Remember when 61 year old seamstress and owner of World Tricot, Carmen Colle, sued Chanel for copying a crochet pattern?
Since this happened back in 2009, the answer is probably no, but we do!
Almost 3 years later, the Paris Court of Appeal ordered Chanel to fork over $258,400 to its former suppliers on Friday.
The fashion house hasn├óΓé¼Γäót decided if it will appeal, but since Friday’s ruling overturned a previous lawsuit, we wouldn’t be surprised if they did.
