LeAnn Rimes Skips Out On Shape Party In Her Honor

The buzz surrounding the new cover of Shape featuring LeAnn Rimes has been heated on both sides — some calling her a ├óΓé¼┼ôhusband-stealer├óΓé¼┬¥ and others coming to her defense.

That’s why her absence at the party this week in Los Angeles meant to celebrate her third appearance on the magazine’s cover was a bit conspicuous.

A representative for Rimes insists that the singer became ill with the flu and was told by her doctor not to leave the house. Rimes also cancelled a show today at Turning Stone Resort and Casino in central New York.

We’re a bit skeptical about her getting the flu. It sounds like she just doesn’t want to face her critics!
