Study: Weight Watchers Better Than Doctor's Advice

Study: Weight Watchers Better Than Doctor's Advice

Weight Watchers Doctors
A new study has shown that people who participate in the Weight Watcher weight loss program tend to lose twice as much weight during the year than those who just take a doctor’s or nurse’s advice!
Not only that, but we’ve heard that it’s much easier to keep the weight off with weight watchers than with brutal diets.
In it, there were 772 men and women around the world who were recruited to do the test. They were chosen randomly during doctor’s appointments, and given a year free of the program, plus access to weekly meetings. The other half were encouraged to attend a monthly one-on-one weight management session at the doctor’s office.
The 61% of people who went to WW and stuck with the program lost and average of 15 pounds compared to the 7 pounds of the 54% of the other group.
If you look at the ones who didn’t go to any meetings, it was even even the same, though lower. 11 to 5.
So, that’s an actual, viable, structured diet for people to rely on if they can’t seem to do it themselves! Fab!
