In case you haven’t seen the pics yet (where have you been hiding??), Britney Spears is now a brunette!
A beautiful bombshell, that is, with long silky chocolate locks!
So, how did BritBrit go from blonde to brunette?
Well, her colorist Brittany Hunter explains all the deets on how Britney turned into Brunetteney!
According to Hunter, Brit has been wanting to make the change for “about a month”, adding:

“We wanted to make sure she was going to be committed to it before we made the change as it can be a difficult process going from light blonde to brunette. We started the process on Thursday and then finished it up on Sunday. We wanted to make sure the color was going to stick and it wasn’t going to fade.
I wanted to keep her as close to her natural color as possible, so not too dark. In the end we went with a very natural and rich light brown. We wanted the right tone that would complement her skin color.”

After it was all done, Miz Spears was apparently “very happy with the result.” Hunter said:

“She was just ready for a change. Going from blonde to brunette can be difficult, and I am very particular about making sure that I get the color level just right. I wanted to look after the health of her hair at the same time.
I do think she will stick with it. She seems very happy.”

Of course she’s happy! Her hair looks FANtastic!
