Remember that time we saw Lily Collins posing at Bergdorf Goodman? Well now we know what it was for!
She was shooting for Glamour magazine!!!
The 24-year-old and her famous brows pop on the cover of the July issue in a floral Dior strapless dress while holding two different Charlotte Olympia sandals in Bergdorfs’ shoe department.
Lily’s good adventures continue throughout the colorful spread, where she poses in a blue floral print Valentino dress, a heart print Burberry Prorsum blouse and leather skirt, as well as the Emilio Pucci cape we previously saw her in outside the famous Manhattan department store.
In the interview, Lily opens up about her mom’s influential style, meeting Karl Lagerfeld and the one thing she refuses to wear in public.
Here are some HIGHlights:
On her mom being her style mentor:
“She lets me borrow her vintage. She has Chanel and eighties stuff from Yohji Yamamoto and Vivienne Westwood that she got when vintage wasn├óΓé¼Γäót cool. She├óΓé¼Γäód wear them to events with my dad, and everyone would ask what she had on; when she said ├óΓé¼╦£vintage,├óΓé¼Γäó they├óΓé¼Γäód go, ├óΓé¼╦£Oh, that├óΓé¼Γäós nice,├óΓé¼Γäó and, you know, turn the corner.”
On running into Karl Lagerfeld in Paris:
“We├óΓé¼Γäód met briefly before, and I was shopping at Colette when he just walked in and said, ├óΓé¼┼ôAh, Lily!├óΓé¼┬¥ Karl Lagerfeld in Paris. Epic.”
On refusing to wear sweats:
“Even in L.A., where everyone├óΓé¼Γäós in yoga pants, I├óΓé¼Γäóve never been the girl to run around in sweats. I love fashion and always have something put together, but I won├óΓé¼Γäót wear anything specifically to be photographed in.”
If Lily’s future appearances are anything like her spread (below), we’re eager to see what she has in store for us!
