Mariah Carey‘s got us anxiously awaiting the release of her new album, but she knows we adore her so much that we’ll just keep waiting and waiting until she’s good and ready.
And she ain’t ready yet!
Our darling diva was set to release The Art of Letting Go on July 23rd, but that has now been delayed because you know she won’t put out anything less than flawless.
She broke the totes sadsie news over Twitter:

While making this album, I got so immersed in the creative process that I just don't feel I would be doing it justice to release it on 7/23.

As much as we want some new music now, we do want the glittery queen to be happy.
