This story gets sadder and more bizarre every day!
Earlier we told you Brittany Murphy‘s grieving father suspected foul play with her daughter’s untimely death and ordered independent toxicology tests on his daughter’s hair and tissue samples.
As we reported, Angelo Bertolotti said the test results showed that his daughter’s hair contained high traces of heavy metals which apparently can indicate poisoning!
Well, the Clueless star’s father also says he shipped those findings off to the El Lay Coroner’s Office in the hopes of reopening the investigation into Brittany’s tragic death, but the Coroner’s Office swears they haven’t received any documents from him at all!
Wait, WHAT?!
Angelo assures the world that he mailed those results in a certified letter on Friday, so why weren’t they received by the coroners?
Chalk it up to a conspiracy or maybe just a postal system delay, but we don’t know! Hopefully the results are received soon, though, so the truth can finally be uncovered!
The Coroner’s Office initially didn’t run all of those tests because it isn’t commonly done, but they admitted these results could potentially lead to a re-opening of the investigation into her death!
Ugh! We just can’t believe it’s been almost four years since Brittany passed on!
She was such a talented and AH-mazing person! We all miss her dearly!
