This Game of Thrones Actor Just Came Out As Gay!

He may only speak one word on Game of Thrones, but Kristian Nairn has much more to say than “Hodor” in real life!
He’s coming out as gay!
The Irish actor was recently asked in an interview if he knew how popular he had become in the gay community, particularly with Bears.
Because, you know, at 6 feet 10 inches and built like a tank, Kristian ain’t no twink!
His answer to that question is STELLAR!
Nairn said:

“Well, in all honesty, when you talk about ‘the gay community,’ you are talking about my community. I am aware of it yeah, and I think it├óΓé¼Γäós really lovely. There├óΓé¼Γäós not a day that I don├óΓé¼Γäót get a few messages, but 99% or more are super sweet and nothing smutty at all! Again, it├óΓé¼Γäós a privilege, and I really mean that. I├óΓé¼Γäóve never hidden my sexuality from anyone, my whole life in fact, and I├óΓé¼Γäóve been waiting for someone to ask about it in an interview, because it├óΓé¼Γäós not something you just blurt out. I├óΓé¼Γäóve tried to lead the questions a few times, to no avail!├óΓé¼┬¥

Hodor, you’re the MAN!
On set, his sexuality has never been an issue either! Kristian explained:

“I had an upbringing to respect other people├óΓé¼Γäós privacy, and their right to be and choose what they want, and I expect, no, demand no less for myself. It├óΓé¼Γäós a very small part of who I am on the whole, but nonetheless, in this day and age, it├óΓé¼Γäós important to stand up and be counted. I have and always will stand my ground. So, yeah, people have been great, on the show, but I don├óΓé¼Γäót see why it would be an issue.├óΓé¼┬¥

As if we weren’t excited enough for GoT’s return for Season 4, now we have perhaps our new favorite character!
