Wow!!
For those who didn’t know, Anderson Cooper used to be a child model, working for big lines like Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein.
Except he quit the biz at the age of thirteen and just recently revealed the one terrible experience behind that decision!
The CNN anchor shared with Howard Stern on his radio show:
“I got propositioned by a photographer…a male. He somehow got my number and called me up and offered me money, and so it freaked me out. I never told anybody. I just stopped. I was like, ‘Forget it.'”
WHAT. That is so disturbing!
Sadly, it’s not an unheard of experience in the modeling world, but to lighten the mood, when asked how much money the photographer mentioned, Anderson told Howard:
“$2,500, which I thought was a little low.”
Still so horrifying! Ugh. And Anderson’s story just sheds light on what sometimes happens behind the scenes of what looks like such a glamorous job.
