Game Of Thrones Scores Big For HBO With Season 4 Premiere As It Becomes 2nd Only To The Sopranos For THIS Title!

All bow down to Game of Thrones!
Okay, well The Sopranos don’t have to bow├óΓé¼┬ª
But after last night’s season 4 premiere, every other HBO program better respect GoT because their premiere has become HBO’s most watched episode since The Soprano‘s finale in 2007!
Last night’s welcome back party scored 6.6 million viewers for HBO. And while that’s not quite in the same league as The Soprano‘s 11.9 million viewers, it’s still damn good├óΓé¼┬ª
…especially when you take into consideration that it was a 52% and 23% increase from last season’s premiere and finale, respectively.
Basically, it’s AH-Mazing!
But that wasn’t the only HBO program to have a good night because Silicon Valley debuted with an average of 2 million viewers, the largest debut for a half-hour show on HBO in almost five years!
Guess it’s good to be HBO these days!
