And not just that – Sony thinks gurl will be their next big franchise!
People have been trying to get the movie rights for a live action Barbie from Mattel for years! So how did Sony finally win them over? Apparently the female empowerment take on it from What A Girl Wants and Sex & The City writer Jenny Bicks is pitch perfect!
Barbie will use her special skills to step in and out of the lives of others, making everything around her better! Sort of like a modern day Emma – that is to say, like a MORE modern Cher from Clueless! LOLz!
But if they want a hit franchise, they’re going to have to cast the absolute perfect gal to bring the plastic icon to life! Here are our top pics for the role of Barbie!
