It hasn’t been pretty, but a decision has been made!
Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy have been battling it out in Manhattan Family Court over their daughter Bryn.
Bethenny had wanted full custody of their little girl, while Jason fought for shared custody, and it seems like Jason Hoppy has gotten what he’s wanted!
While their divorce battle is still in full motion, the custody part has been settled according to Jason Hoppy’s lawyer Bernard Clair, and both parents will share parenting duties.
Here’s what the lawyer said on Wednesday:
“My client is delighted that this custody dispute has been resolved; that his co-parenting status has been acknowledged; that the parties├óΓé¼Γäó child will have the benefit of being raised by both parents; and most importantly, that his daughter will no longer be at the mercy of a high profile courtroom battle. Jason wishes Bethenny only the best of luck, and he looks forward to sharing with her all of the joyous occasions, milestones, and blessings that will be coming up in his daughter├óΓé¼Γäós future.”
The specifics of the custody settlement have not been disclosed and will remain private.
This custody case has been sometimes particularly nasty, so we’re glad to see it finally finish up.
Now the two can work on raising their little girl despite the obvious animosity they have for each other.
The real winner in this case is Bryn. She gets both her parents equally!
