We know the news of Colin Farrell taking the lead in Season 2 of True Detective has had some mixed reactions online – especially with new partner Vince Vaughn – but we’re excited!
He may be known more for being really, really, incredibly good-looking, but the Tigerland star is also a really fine actor.

OK, it’s possible we’re mostly excited about Colin being on HBO, land of the gratuitous nude scene, but srsly, it’s a good chance for an underrated actor to show a new side of himself.
