Girls Gone Wild founder, Joe Francis, was in court again on Wednesday, and this time he showed up on time!
As we’ve previously mentioned, Joe was hours tardy for his first federal tax evasion hearing last week and was subsequently placed on house arrest.
At yesterday’s hearing, Joe was able to get his house arrest thrown out by the judge!
He brought his Dr. to court, and the doc testified that the GGW mastermind was late to his first hearing due to flu.
Francis’ new legal team was also revealed.
Joey boy has always maintained his innocence concerning the tax allegations and said, “I look forward to being vindicated when the case goes to trial and putting these absurd allegations permanently to rest. I am tired of being singled out and criminalized by the government because of what I do for a living. This is not a case about tax evasion; it’s simply another attempt to prosecute Joe Francis for being the creator of Girls Gone Wild.”
