Daniel has officially entered the Marvel universe as he’s just been cast as the villain in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War!
Joining the ranks of Avengers‘ Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans, Daniel will be the perfect addition to this incredible franchise!

While it’s unknown which comic book villain he’ll be portraying, an educated guess would be Andreas Strucker aka the Swordsman!
Andreas is the son of Baron von Strucker who will be in Avengers: Age of Ultron as portrayed by Thomas Kretschmann.
Both are German actors so this part might make the most sense for Daniel! Although the possibilities in the Marvel universe are endless!
