Foxcatcher is one of those movies that has actors taking a real departure, in a reallllly good way.
Steve Carell barely looks like himself while Mark Ruffalo and Channing Tatum bring the acting fire!!
That’s why it was so sad and shocking when Mark Schultz, the man Tatum was portraying, came out saying he hates the movie and hates the film’s director Bennett Miller, as we previously mentioned.

Well now it looks like Schultz is changing his tune and apologizing! He tweeted:
Channing Tatum GOT ROBBED. HE WAS SO GOOD IT WAS UNREAL. I’m amazed he wasn’t nominated.

Bennett Miller is the greatest director ever. 3rd time’s the charm. He’s due an oscar.

I feel terrible about what I did to Bennett. I should have followed God, not man.

#Foxcatcher is a miracle. I’m sorry I said I hated it. I love it. I love my interpretation and will ignore the haters. I’m never getting mad

I think the problem I had was the context of the movie. It’s what happened was so hard. My brother’s murder. My career ruined.

I apologize to you before the world Bennett. I’m sorry.

Thank you Bennett Miller for honoring my great brother Dave Schultz.

He also deleted a tweet that read:
“I was temporarily insane.”
So not only did he totally apologize and honor the film for the amazing piece of cinema it is, he also removed his “insanity” excuse!
It’s great to see people owning up to what they say — regardless if it needs an apology!
We’re glad there’s no longer any bad blood!!
