On Monday, just ONE DAY after Sir Elton John compelled the public to boycott Dolce & Gabbana over their offensive comments about same-sex parenting, the singer was spotted out in El Lay with a D&G shopping bag!

Umm, what is going on here, Elton?!
Obviously, the poppa of two’s accessory caused a large outcry… so much so, his rep released the following statement:
“Yes he was carrying the bag but he hadn’t been shopping. And it should not detract from their original message or the boycott.”
Hmm. Inneresting.
Admittedly, we’re still a little confused as to why the legend was caught with the bag — but like his rep said, the focus should remain on the boycott.
