It’s been three years since that infamous Time magazine cover with a mom breastfeeding a three-year-old.
We don’t think we’ve seen another breastfeeding magazine cover since then, but Elle Australia has ended the drought, so to speak.
Model Nicole Trunfio is pictured on the mag’s front with four-month-old baby Zion, her first with partner Gary Clark Jr., a Grammy-winning musician.
The shot wasn’t planned, according to editor-in-chief Justine Cullen:
“This wasn’t a contrived situation: Zion needed a feed, Nicole gave it to him, and when we saw how beautiful they looked we simply moved her onto the set,”
The breastfeeding cover will go to subscribers, while the newsstand image features Nicole simply holding a sleeping Zion.
And like Gisele Bundchen before her, the model has also posted an image of herself breastfeeding while getting glammed up!
