Half a century’s worth of epic football showdowns is a pretty big milestone to celebrate, so whoever they select as the Halftime Show performer has to be a huge deal.
Well, word on the street is the NFL has offered the headliner slot to someone who super recently shined in that very show… Bruno Mars!

Sources say that even though the hitmaker only took the stage in 2014, he has been already asked back by the organization for one of football’s biggest nights!
It’ll be very interesting to see how the singer responds, since he didn’t have to pay to play last time around. But then again, his album sales did skyrocket after his show-stopping performance.
