The Jurassic World and Mom stars both posted adorable throwback photos on social media this week — and it wasn’t just to one up each other’s cuteness!
The A-list couple was promoting an upcoming Anderson Cooper 360 special report #Being13: Inside the Secret World of Teens!

Anna’s brother Robert Faris, who is an associate professor of sociology at the University of California at Davis, was a co-collaborator in the two-year investigation of social media accounts of hundreds of eighth graders nationwide!
The CNN team also interviewed the subjects’ families and social psychologists to shed more light on the social media obsession in today’s teens!
