On Wednesday, the Girls creator took to Instagram to flaunt her new piece of jewelry to her many followers. LOVES it!
Unfortunately, the new rock isn’t an engagement ring but rather it is just an anniversary present. Sorry, folks!

So pretty! In case you forgot, the Bleachers singer and the Golden Globe winner have been dating since September 2012.
However, while the twosome first said they wouldn’t tie the knot until same-sex marriage was legal, it seems that Miz Dunham is still not quite ready to jump the broom. The A-lister previously dished to Ellen DeGeneres:
“I mean we own a dog together. We own a home together, but the marriage thing is a big deal.”
Hey, that doesn’t mean it isn’t EVER going to happen. Who knows, maybe this ring is the duo’s way of getting a step closer to heading to the altar.
