Game Show Legend Chuck Barris Dead At 87

What a sad day.
On Tuesday, it was revealed that game show legend Chuck Barris has passed away. According to the The Gong Show creator’s publicist, Barris died from natural causes in his home in Palisades, NY. He was 87 years old.

Chuck is probably best known for creating popular game shows, like the iconic The Dating Game and The Newlywed Game. Not to mention, Barris also claimed to have been a CIA assassin in his autobiography, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. Crazy stuff.
Hollywood’s certainly lost one hell of a firecracker! Rest in peace, bud.
