We can’t unsee this!
On Thursday, the genius behind the Game Of Thrones world, George R.R. Martin, gifted fans with a fun throwback pic of himself from the ’70s. At first, it didn’t seem like there was anything noteworthy about this particular #TBT image on Twitter — that is until one vigilant pointed out that Mr. Martin looks an AWFUL lot like one of the characters from his beloved franchise.

Yup, George R.R. looks a hell of a lot like Kit Harington‘s character Jon Snow. The celebrated author posted:

It wasn’t long before fans started seeing the similarities between Martin and Snow. As one fan perfectly put it:
