Poor Neil Patrick Harris!
The How I Met Your Mother star ran into a major mishap during the rehearsals for Sunday night’s TV Land Awards .
His tuxedo caught on fire!!
Harris, who had hosting duties for the night, found out just how flammable his tux was during the practice of a stunt that was to follow a pre-taped skit with Survivor‘s Jeff Probst. Remote packs secured to his back to emanate a cloud of smoke ended up igniting while NPH was trying to change from his island-dweller rags into the tux!
“He just had some welts on his back,” said a TV Land Awards spy. “He didn’t have to be taken to a hospital or anything like that.”
Glad to hear!
And during the actual filming of the program?
NPH’s stunt went off without a hitch!
