Marika Dominczyk can’t compete with being black!
The Polish-American actress got some brutal backlash after claiming the reason she wasn’t booking any roles lately was because she didn’t look ethnic enough.
The Grey’s Anatomy alum posted a string of video confessionals on her Snapchat this week, in which she vented about the grueling auditioning process.

Walking out of an audition room, the 37-year-old told her followers she was frustrated with the lack of roles she’s been offered — which, according to Marika, is because she’s “not famous” and “not super ethnic.”
Going off that last part, she went on to say:
“I only say that because I legit lost all these other jobs I’ve been auditioning for, to ladies of different ethnic backgrounds. I can’t compete with that!”
Yes, you disadvantaged poor thing! If only there weren’t so many roles for black women on televisio-whatthehellisshetalkingabout…
Marika tried to cap off her rant on a positive, don’t-give-up-on-your-dreams note, but few could see past the part where she whined about black women stealing her roles.
One critic in particular gave an appropriately shady response while sharing Marika’s rant on Twitter:
so where are all these “ethnic” ladies on screen who are getting these roles over you because you├óΓé¼Γäóre white? because i still see white women on tv shows CONSTANTLY… maybe you├óΓé¼Γäóre just not good? ├░┼╕┬ñ┬╖├░┼╕┬Å┬╜├óΓé¼┬ì├óΓäóΓé¼├»┬╕┬Å @TheMeanChick pic.twitter.com/3idljShmbJ
