Just to be clear, Tyga is a grown man and completely responsible for his own taxes.
But while there aren’t too many problems we can actually blame on Kylie Jenner, for some reason, she seems to be the root of her ex’s major league tax debt — more specifically, Tyga’s infatuation with her seems to be.
According to docs recently filed against Tyga by The State of California Franchise Tax Board, the Rack City rapper has refused to pay his taxes for the years 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 — grand totaling to $890,183.57 in taxes owed.

If that timeline rings a bell, it’s because those were the exact years that Tyga first met, wooed, and dated a teenage Kylie.
As you SHOULD know, the twosome first met in 2011 when Tyga performed at Kendall Jenner‘s 16th birthday party. Kylie was just a doe-eyed 14-year-old girl who had a crush on the performer — as she grew, so did her affection for Tyga.
The two got close in 2014 after Ty had split with Blac Chyna. In 2015, they went public with their relationship when the KUWTK star turned 18.

Kyga were the IT couple until the end of 2016 when their relationship went south. They were on-again-off-again until Kylie finally pulled the plug in April 2017 — and would go on to date rapper Travis Scott.
Sure, Tyga’s had his fair share of money problems since the split — including having two cars repossessed and various unsettled debts — but there’s strong evidence that his unpaid taxes had something to do with spending all those years trying to keep up with you-know-who!
