Life is SO good right now for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!
The new parents are in a “sheer state of delight” over the birth of their firstborn son, Archie Harrison — and it’s no wonder they’re over the moon, because they sound like they are SO in love with the adorable little guy!

We know all this because Harry traveled overseas (again!) this week, heading out to Rome, Italy for a charity polo match to benefit his organization, Sentebale. But while busy all the while in the beautiful Italian city, focusing on supporting vulnerable children affected by HIV and AIDS in Lesotho, Africa, Harry clearly had eyes only for Archie!
Johnny Hornby, the Chairman of Sentebale, spoke to People about Harry’s “new dad glow,” and to hear him tell it, it sounds like the prince is loving his time at home with the baby boy (below):
“You can tell what am [sic] incredible affinity he has for children. He is a magnet for children. I didn’t think he could have appreciated children more than he did before, but I have seen a whole new involvement with them now that he is a father. …the Duke couldn’t take his eyes off of [Archie] — nor his hands. The two of them are just in a state of sheer delight over this birth.”
Awww! So cute!!!

Another one of Harry’s good friends, Argentine polo player Nacho Figueras, has also seen the new dad in action recently. Figueras and his wife, Delfina Blaquier, traveled to Windsor last week to meet little Archie, and they reported back much the same about the new mother and father (below):
“The Duke is the kind of father I always imagined he would be. He has always had a great love for children and a great understanding of them. I noticed that becoming a father has influenced him and his dedication and love for the project is now stronger than ever. The Duke is very happy with this stage of his life and I believe he is going to enjoy it very much.”
Figueras also noted that the inevitable early morning wake-up calls hadn’t gotten to Harry quite yet, and the Duke was still so high off Archie’s arrival that nothing could bring him down — even with a busy work schedule, polo commitments, and more.
Figureas said (below):
“Two weeks after the birth of his baby, the Duke is doing great. I saw him earlier and he is ready. He slept well and is ready to play a great game [of polo]. He seems to be very happy. I think this is a very exciting part of his life. He was ready for it and he is loving it. When duty calls, he is just 24 hours away from home, and I am sure he is doing just fine. He is a wonderful father and very present and he is here for an amazing cause.”
So wonderful!
Can’t help but be incredibly excited for the young couple — they sound SO in love with their son and each other, it’s unbelievably adorable!!!
