Was Hollywood To Blame For Brittany Murphy's Death?

“You want to know what broke Brittany Murphy‘s heart?” Simon Monjack asked Larry King in an interview taped on Friday.

“Hollywood broke Brittany Murphy’s heart.”

What a statement.

Both Brittany Murphy’s husband as well as her mother Sharon Murphy were at the CNN studios in Los Angeles on Friday to tape a segment about their lost loved one.

Larry asked the two how they’ve been holding up since Murphy’s death on December 20th and Simon responded, “I don’t think I am. I don’t think either of us are…”

“No,” Brittany’s mom added.

In the interview scheduled to air on Wednesday, both Simon and Sharon go into the heart-wrenching details of the morning of Brittany’s death with Larry as well as their lives now without her.

“Sharon and I were holding each other,” Monjack remembered. “And they let us know at the same time that they — that she hadn’t made it.”

“But we knew before that. It was just — you know, you felt her life go out of her,” said Sharon.
